For Paris Youth Foundation, starting a band was a nought to sixty ascent they can still hardly believe. Uploading first song ‘If You Wanna’ to Soundcloud, a fortnight later the band found themselves playing their first show at Reading Festival. The band have gone on to play all the major new music festivals and have not stopped throughout 2017, touringalongside Transgressive trio Blaenavon. Brighton’s indie rockers The Magic Gang, and hotly tipped grunge rockers INHEAVEN.

Since their debut play by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, the band has been championed by Phil Taggart, Steve Lamacq, BBC Introducing, Abbie McCarthy, Alice Levine and John Kennedy. They wrapped-up a massive year with a sold-out headline show at Liverpool’s Buyers Club.

"Paris Youth Foundation are fast on their way to joining that crop of young musicians ready to spearhead the British wave” – NME
